Mulching
At JDB we operate two mulching machines
- Ahwi RT200
- Raptor 100 Robo Mulcher
Suitable for a wide range of applications including post-felling clearance, vegetation control, and the removal of unwanted understory growth. These machines allow us to tackle projects of varying scale and complexity with precision and efficiency. Mulching is a fast, effective, and environmentally responsible method of clearing ground while leaving behind a nutrient-rich layer that promotes healthy regrowth.
Woodland Mulch and Biomass Fuel Production
At JDB, Our mulch, derived from composted woodchip is sold to the public and landscapers for use on garden beds, pathways, equestrian areas, newly planted trees and landscape projects.
Biomass Fuel Production:
For large-scale sustainability, we also process significant volumes of timber into Biomass fuel using our Eschlböck Biber 92 chipper. This high-performance machine handles logs up to 75cm in diameter, producing quality wood chip fuel for biomass heating systems and renewable energy use.
